A Refreshing trip to Namma Bengalooru!

I had been to Bengalooru last weekend primarily to attend my friend's wedding. I am going to share some of the experiences with you all.

About Bengalooru, A lot of things changed on a positive note. City roads are neat and almost path-hole free and Koramangala-Indiranagar inner ring road stands exceptional. Looks like they are all set for this monsoon season.

We can see lot of volvo buses in city roads. Don't know how much the poor can afford to travel in these luxury buses. Its been fun all the way on those two days. We had very nice time. We went to nearby shopping malls. Its amazing how fast the city reinvents itself. Lot of new buildings have come up. A new shopping mall near Koramangala Sony Centre adds shopping chore to already busy Oasis centre.

Though one things hasn't changed for long-time, still the BMTC bus conductor doesn't give you the remaining change for tickets purchased. Myself faced this twice in two days and observed the same happening to fellow passengers. God only know when they'll change for better.

That's all for now! This will be my last post for this november! Thanks for reading!

God's Gift!

Remember I told you about my last Sunday's train journey. During my return journey I saw some scenes that caused some pain inside me. A old aged couple and their two sons were travelling in the train. They boarded at Lighthouse station as like I did.

The sad part is that both of their sons are mentally challenged. The elder one was standing near the door and mimicking train sound with occasional horn too. Younger one sat next to his mother. He seems to be in his own world and every now and then he will stare rest of us in the bogie.

When train reached Velachery station the old couple had difficult time to manage both of them while alighting from train.  I was very sad to watch all this. Think how much of pain for the old couple to manage their kids. How painful it will be for them. What do you call this as karma or fate.

In the end I can't resist myself from thanking god for what he had given to me, call it selfish or whatever. I am off to Bangalore this weekend to attend friend Nagaraja's marriage. Hoping to catch up with old friends after long time. See ya!!

The law of garbage trucks!

Its a sunny, bright, happy and wonderful Wednesday morning. This is going to be very short post. Today I would like to share a wonderful thought with my readers. Couple of days back I got a forwarded mail from a friend which is about "The law of garbage trucks".

Let me tell you more about this. There are many people among us who are like garbage trucks. They run around with full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up they need a place to dump it and they will try to dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave and wish them well and move on.

Nice thought by the way. I have to thank my friend for sharing this. Thank you my dear friend, you have made my day.

Super Sunday!

I would like to share two things that I experienced today with you all. Both are different and has no similarity between.

First one is watching Guzarish movie @ Satyam. Despite the fact that Hrithik has acted well(whole body paralyzed) but that apart there is nothing in the movie, I mean poor camera work, poor music(the fact is that he plays a role of RJ) and what not. The film is about mercy killing. They could have done better, I know it is easier said than done and it is easy to criticize by sitting here than go out and make a film. Still I can't digest the way they've filmed and the fact is they took more than 2 years to film this movie.

After coming out of the theatre I was still thinking "when we'll get to see movies of Gladiator, Troy or the likes of Will Smith's made here in our own land". Either I am immature to understand the movie or it was filmed in such a stupid way. I am still searching the answer for that question.

The second one I went to Marina in the evenings. It was wonderful experience. The fun started from Velachery MRTS station. The train journey was great with cool breeze mesmerizing. In beach it was great to see lot of people. Even great is to play in the sea waves. They never seem to be resting.

Thats from me for now! Thanks for reading..

Rainy Days!

Its been raining here in Chennai for almost two straight days. Its getting muggier and muggier in and around Velachery when it rains. Coming to work during those rainy days has become a monstrous task. Oops I don't have a photo to show off how worse it gets when rains. Poor planning, may be next time I'll come up with photos relatively.

Today we had Children's day celebrated at our office. Lot of kids have come with their parents. We had really nice time watching those innocent kids perform various acts. They are so cute so innocent.

Lot of competitions like lemon n spoon, frog race, musical chair, etc., Yeah I know there is nothing new in the list, But the presence of kids made it look spectacular. One kid danced brilliantly though the music could have been better.

Its been long time since I wrote my first blog. Thinking of writing regularly.
Good day! Happy Reading!!

Happy Diwali!

This is my first blog post. The purpose is to share my thoughts with rest of the world and at the same time I would be glad if I can pick few good things along the way.
The festival of lights is just a stone throw away. I am happy that I will be going home and be with parents. No wonder the very feeling of going home makes me happy. To me diwali means crackers, sweets and lot of sweets..

We had Diwali celebrations at our office. It was wonderful experience and I am happy to share a video of the same with you all.

Wishing you all a very happy DIWALI!
