Sports action this weekend!

Manchester United beat Liverpool to reach the pinnacle of the English Premier League. As expected there were fireworks during the course of the match. Suarez refused to shake hands with Man Utd's captain Evra, despite the assurance from both the teams managers that both the players will shake hands before the start of the match.

Wayne Rooney scored 2 goals in the space of 180 seconds to give Man United the upper hand. Though Suarez scored a consolation goal during 80th minute of the match but that proved to be too little to challenge the red devils.

Later today Indian cricket team snatched victory from Australia in the fourth league match at Adelaide Oval. The target of 270 was always going to be daunting one for the visitors. But they played some superb cricket to overcome this. Especially the Indian Team's fielding was the stand-out point in this win.

I am happy that both my favorite teams won their respective matches this weekend.

My Pulsar

This post is about my new pulsar. I am going to share my riding experience so far. Its a 150cc monster. It has immense power. The pick-up has been superb. The suspension is good. Particularly I like the intelligent indicators which goes off as soon as we complete the side-turn.

I have also posted some of the pictures of it.

It was a big story how I ended up buying this monster. It was my best friends who showed their generosity, without them I don't think I would have bought it. Thanks (I know you guys hate this word) guys!.

The blue maverick seen in above picture is Praveen's Yamaha FZ-S. Thats another gigantic bike.

Visit to Chennai Book Fair

I had visited Chennai Book Fair @ St. Anglo Indian School, Nungambakkam. Lot of book enthusiasts thronged the venue. So much is the rush that I had to wait almost 15 minutes at the entrance to get in. They chared a nominal fee (Rs. 5) for entry.

Out of 684, stalls most of them had only tamil books. Landmark also had their stall, but majority of the bestsellers were missing. People there said one needs to go to landmark shop. Equally interesting is the rise of multimedia selling stalls. This shows the change of tides. Overall it was an amazing experience.

    Some of the snaps..
