Results were announced for the 2026 assembly elections held in five states - Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, West Bengal and Assam. BJP won in both Assam and West Bengal. Congress won in Kerala. Mr. Rangasamy's NRCongress won at Puducherry. Mr. Vijay's TVK became the single largest party in Tamil Nadu.
